Communicating And Relating Effectively

Effective communication is one of the most essential components in building relationships.

This workshop covers the fundamental techniques of effective communication.

Participants will be equipped with a framework of best practices, which can be used by operational level staff in their day-to-day work activities, including addressing conflicts.

What you will learn?

Understand communication flow and how to understand the information received

Respond using the best communication methods, including listening well, speaking well and using the right body language

Identify signs, stages and causes of disagreement with individuals or groups of people

Requirements

Demonstrate listening and speaking skills (English) at a level equivalent to Employability Skills (ES) Literacy Level 5

Demonstrate reading and writing skills (English) at a level equivalent to ES Literacy Level 5

Demonstrate numeracy skills at a level equivalent to ES Numeracy Level 5
